THE WORKFLOW
How to convert PDF pages to JPG or PNG
- Open PDF to images and select the source PDF. Enter the page range you want to export.
- Choose PNG or JPG and set Render scale. A higher scale produces larger pixel dimensions and uses more memory.
- Render the pages and download the images. Inspect small text and diagrams at their intended display size.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLES
Choose the workflow for your document
Export one PDF page as a picture
Enter its document page position and choose a format. This creates an image of the whole page; use the page-cropping operation first if the visible page area needs adjusting.
Choose a readable PDF image resolution
Increase render scale when fine text looks soft in the output. Large pages at a high scale can consume considerable browser memory, so start with a short selection before converting a long document.
BEFORE YOU SHARE
What to check in the result
Image output contains visible page pixels. It does not preserve selectable text, clickable links, form fields or accessibility structure. PNG is useful for crisp lines and text; JPG may suit photographic content. Compare real output sizes before choosing a format.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions about this PDF task
Does this extract the original embedded images?
No. It renders complete pages. An exported JPG or PNG contains the page as displayed, including text and graphics.
Can I convert only a page range?
Yes. Enter a range such as 2-4 in Pages, or leave it blank for all pages.
How do I keep the PDF text searchable?
Keep a PDF copy for text search and accessibility. A JPG or PNG is an image and has no PDF text layer.
